We have recognized that students are engaging in the online world with increasing frequency and in new ways. This has included instant messaging services, camera phones, chat rooms, email, web logs, profiles and apps they can exchange gossip; share their experiences and also mount bullying campaigns. The school works with students and parents to help them navigate this on-line world and help reduce the risk of students whilst they are online.

To support the student’s on-line learning, the school has trialled, eduPLEX which focuses on building the ability to communicate safely and build and exhibit work in an on-line environment. eduPLEX allows for students to operate in an on-line environment that is safe, controlled and monitored. In prepares them for a digital future in which safe and effective collaboration through digital technologies will be essential.
