4 Year Old Kindergarten Programs

ur 4 year old kindergarten programs, Correa and Hakea, focus on ensuring each child feels happy, confident and connected in their learning environment.  We focus on strengthening the children’s independence as they explore and investigate a wide range of learning experiences which stem from the children’s area of interest. 

We have a strong focus on a mixture of play-based and intentional teaching within our kindergarten program to ensure both children and families voices are being heard and respected.  Within the classroom, we embed child’s voice as a way to ensure the learning environment is engaging, fun and learning-filled.  Emotional and social skills are a key part of our program, encouraging all children to develop resilience, confidence and learning how to interact with others in a positive way. We incorporate an extensive connection to literacy and numeracy foundations, to further support your child’s learning journey.

Through providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment, we strive to provide every child with the opportunity to challenge themselves, celebrate their achievements and become a life long learner.

2024/2025 Hakea timetable

Monday – 9:00am – 3:30pm

Tuesday – 9:00am – 3:30pm

Friday – 9:00am – 3:30pm

Our kindergarten offers 15 hours of funded 4 year old kindergarten a week, with an additional 4.5 hours. Our families are offered to either opt in for the 15 hour program, or the 19.5 hour program during the enrolment process.
