Charlotte Tay

Welcome! My name is Charlotte and I am proud to be the Director of Box Hill North Primary Kindergarten.

Our kindergarten is an integral part of our community, offering a unique experience of kindergarten and school integrated into one location.  We value a sense of journey in our community, providing a seamless transition for our children from 3-year-old kinder, all the way through to year 6.  What a wonderful start to each child’s sense of belonging.

For me, kindergarten represents the key foundational steps towards life-long learning. It is an opportunity for each child to begin their transition into the learning environment and have a positive connection to kindergarten and school.  Our kindergarten creates a strong connection with each of our children, ensuring they feel valued, respected and supported.

I believe that we learn when we are having fun.  When a child is engaged, they will become more active, curious and enthusiastic about their learning, which they can then take with them into school and beyond. My aim is for all our kindergarten children to wake up each day, excited to come to Box Hill North Primary Kindergarten.

I am incredibly proud of our team at Box Hill North. Each one of them brings kindness, passion and positivity to our classrooms every day. We work together as a team to ensure we are the best we can be and demonstrate an ongoing commitment to deliver an outstanding kindergarten program for our learners.

Being a part of this community brings me much joy and I cannot wait to welcome you into our kindergarten family, and share more about what Box Hill North Primary Kindergarten is all about.
