FAQ 1 – My child is coming from another kinder or learning centre. How will they feel welcome and included?

We’re often asked that question around when kids come from different kinders, given that we’ve got a kinder on site, and how that child and that family will feel included in our setting.

It’s a really easy transition. Our kids are really accommodating of anyone new, very friendly and approachable, and our staff make that a really easy process as well. We often have small introductory sessions with kids and families so that they become familiar with what’s going on, and then kids feel right at home straight away.

FAQ 2 – How can parents get involved?

We know that the more parents invest in education, that it really reflects in the value that their children value education themselves.

And so there’s many multiple ways that they can be involved, or you can be involved as a parent. That can be doing some reading in classrooms, it can be behind the scenes organizing committees, it can be on the fundraising team. There’s many, many ways to be involved, and nothing’s too much trouble. Just ask any of our staff and they’ll be able to point you in the right direction.

FAQ 3 – How will the school communicate with me about my child?

Communication is a really critical aspect of any organization and certainly at our school, we pride ourselves on strong communication with our families about your child. So parents and teachers are in regular conversation with each other, and it’s easy to approach teachers to find out what’s going on for your child.

It’s not the curriculum that we offer that sets us apart...
